EHS-1 Holographic Sight

Great product! Feels great out of the box! The shake to wake feature is a nice plus. The packaging was nice and overall great value for what you get. If you’re going apples to apples with other brands with a 2.26 in riser, the DOT is tough to beat. Glass is very clear and reticle is crisp once dialed to your lighting conditions. Very impressed for it being their first entry in a highly dominated market. I’m excited to see what the future brings and hoping to see DOT bring different options and drive healthy competition.

Have not shot but initial thoughts are impressed. Great under NV. Housing walls out of sight and low settings get very low. No peer view of reticle on lower of settings, but brighter while using IR light it is present. Glass appears good, magnifies nice. This saved weight and space with no compromise so far.

Bombproof optic, integrated riser is the perfect height. Insanely clear glass with very crisp reticle. Excellent choice of battery and love the locking QD mounting system. Highly recommend

This is great so far. Excited to see an anti-reflective cover hit the market.

Took a chance on one of these after seeing the review that Modern Tactical Shooting did. I respect Jeff and trust his opinion ls to help me make purchasing decisions. Let me preface my review with this- I do not like Chinese made optics. I am a buy once cry once person, and until now, all my rifles and pistols have either Trijicon RMRs, ACOGs, Aimpoint T2 Micro, Aimpoint ACROs or Eotech EXPS3-0. I was expecting at least Holosun quality, but I'm not a huge fan of Holosun or Chinese optics in general. Upon receiving my EHS-1, that changed. I was impressed by the packaging, presentation and attention to detail on the optic itself. The glass is clear and the overall QC of the optic is superb. Way better than anything else I have seen from other companies, except Aimpoint. Using the optic, it's just like an Eotech. One thing I do appreciate is that when you turn it off then turn it back on, it reverts to the last used brightness level, unlike an Eotech that turns on to a default mid setting. The QD mount is solid, and required no adjustment to mount on my Kriss Vector SBR. I took it to the range and zeroed it, and had zero issues. However I only shot 250 rounds. Time will tell, however I do not see myself buying an Eotech ever again after having numerous QC issues with them....and I get them direct from Eotech at the MIL/LE price. The EHS-1 was $510 after signing up to their newsletter, and even at $600, I believe its worth it. Time will tell how these optics hold up, and I'm very excited for the future of DOT. I will also add that prior to purchasing, I emailed with a few questions and they were courteous and helpful. Take a chance on one of these EHS-1. I thought I was stuck in my way of thinking that Chinese optics suck, aka Holosun. But these things are on a whole other level. Like Aimpoint levels of attention to detail and build quality from what I have experienced so far.
